About Lumi

Catalog cleanup should end with reviewed work, not another spreadsheet.

Lumi is a Shopify app built for merchants and catalog teams who need a practical way to find missing content, draft improvements, and keep control of what reaches the storefront. It brings discovery, drafting, approval, publishing, and history into one workflow.

Why Lumi exists

Product catalogs rarely become inconsistent all at once. A new image arrives without alt text, an older product has no description, or search fields are left blank during a busy launch. The work is repetitive, but the result still needs human judgment. Lumi was built to make those gaps visible and turn them into a reviewable queue.

Lumi uses product and image details from a merchant's own catalog to create drafts for supported fields. Merchants can review, edit, regenerate when available, publish approved changes, or leave a draft unpublished. Published content stays in Shopify if Lumi is later uninstalled.

What Lumi is, and what it is not

Lumi supports product-image alt text, product descriptions, SEO titles, and meta descriptions according to plan eligibility. It also organizes supported storefront accessibility findings and keeps generation and publication history so teams can understand what changed.

Lumi is an assistive catalog tool. It does not provide legal advice, certify WCAG, ADA, or EAA compliance, guarantee search rankings, or replace manual review. It is designed to help teams do careful work more consistently while keeping the merchant in control.
